Senior Marketing Executive

– 12 month Maternity Cover starting April 2018
– 25 hours per week

Reporting to: Sales Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and confident Marketing Executive who is a dynamic, organised professional with keen attention to detail. In this role you will be heading up and taking ownership of the marketing team whilst reporting to the Sales Manager.

Duties will include managing and overseeing a small team whilst liaising with all Heads of Departments to implement the marketing plan for the year. This is a truly mixed marketing position where you’ll have your hand in every marketing activity we undertake and have the opportunity to bring new ideas to the table.

Duties

  • Implementation of annual marketing plans for all business areas.
  • Implementation of all promotions and campaigns to time and budget.
  • Control of all marketing collateral, advertising, promotional activities both online and off-line.
  • Implement activity to Increase Sales to business areas through effective marketing.
  • To communicate marketing activity to all department teams.
  • Work closely with all HOD’s to understand their business areas.
  • To react and implement any new ideas or initiatives to increase revenue.
  • Report on campaigns delivered through-out the year.
  • Delegate work-loads to team members accordingly.
  • Manage team workloads.
  • Coordinate and manage projects coming to the department.

Responsibilities

  • For the efficient operations and running of the Marketing Department.
  • All marketing collateral, advertising, promotional activities both online and off-line.
  • Negotiate supplier rates and contracts.
  • Branding online and offline.
  • Assisting all departments to meet their set budgets for the financial year.
  • Network and promote hotel and business areas where possible.
  • Raise and increase awareness of the hotel and amenities in the local and surrounding geographical areas.
