Friday night saw another award win for the hotel at the second Nachural Summer Business Ball and Awards held at the Wolverhampton Racecourse. Hotelier Angela Bir was awarded the accolade of “Business Woman of the Year 2017” in this years’ categories at the business awards organised by Ninder Johal, CEO of Nachural Events and former Governing Board Member of a number of educational institutes in the West Midlands.
The shortlisted nominees were Polly Bhambra, Aamana Anwar and of course our very own Managing Director Angela Bir. Having started her career at the age of 21, Angela took ownership of het first hotel in the West Midlands, which over the years led to what is now a large portfolio of many businesses. Angela is also Managing Director of 11 nursing homes in the East Midlands with a workforce of over 500 staff members as well as an extensive commercial property portfolio in the UK and overseas.
After winning the award on Friday, Angela was overjoyed, she said, “I am extremely proud to have won this accolade to know that I have been recognised by business professionals and colleague for my hard work, determination and helping regenerate the local community in Wolverhampton”.
With over 30 years’ experience in setting up and managing successful businesses around the UK, we believe this award was very well deserved!
At last year’s Nachural awards the Ramada Park Hall Hotel was awarded the “Regeneration Award” for investing more than £5 million in to refurbishing the hotel, employing a local work force and helping to regenerate the Wolverhampton and West Midlands region.
